Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Cody Core suffered an ugly elbow injury during the team’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Core was trying for a catch on a ball thrown to him by the sideline late in the first quarter. He was unable to make the catch and landed on his left arm awkwardly as he tried to brace his fall.
Core had his arm put in an air cast and he was taken off the field. CBS sideline reporter Steve Tasker said medical personnel appeared to pop Core’s elbow back into place.
Core entered the game with 13 catches for 160 yards and a touchdown this season.
You can see the injury below, but it is difficult to watch.
