Browns to let fans script preseason plays as part of charity auction
If you think you’re an undiscovered offensive genius, now is your chance to help the Cleveland Browns in the preseason.
The Browns are offering the chance for two fans to help script the first 15 plays of a preseason game in 2020, via Jake Trotter of ESPN. The initiative is part of the All In Challenge raising money to provide meals to those in need. One winner will be decided via auction, while the other will be part of a raffle.
Winners will help coach Kevin Stefanski and offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt script the offensive gameplan, as well as an invitation to the pregame team dinner and meeting.
This is a pretty cool initiative for a good cause. As long as the game is scripted well and doesn’t ruin the positive feelings toward the Browns right now, anyway.
