Corey Coleman will not need surgery on broken hand, out 4-6 weeks
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Corey Coleman appears to have somewhat dodged a bullet after breaking his hand on Wednesday.
The Browns announced on Twitter Thursday that the rookie wideout will not require surgery to repair the break and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Coleman, 22, suffered the injury in practice, apparently after he made a catch and a teammate came down on his hand. He was selected by Cleveland in the first round (No. 15 overall) last April.
Browns head coach Hue Jackson said that veteran Andrew Hawkins will start in Coleman’s place, per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

With the team down to their third-string quarterback and now Coleman’s absence to go along with Josh Gordon’s still-active suspension, we could be seeing a very run-heavy offense from the Browns for the time being.
