Report: Cowboys not interested in Robert Griffin III, more interested in veteran backups
A Robert Griffin III-Cowboys union does not sound as though it’s in the cards.
According to Yahoo! Sports’s Charles Robinson, the Cowboys are apparently not going to be making a move for the recently-released former Baylor quarterback.
Contrary to what I'm hearing from a few analysts, I do not believe the Dallas #Cowboys are in play right now for Robert Griffin.

Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News confirmed that the Cowboys are unlikely to make a run at Griffin, reporting that they instead would prefer a veteran backup like Colt McCoy or Chase Daniel, both of whom have prep ties to Texas. McCoy, in particular, went to college at Texas.
This confirms an earlier report that stated that the Cowboys do not see Griffin as a fit. He’s a big name, but at 26, he’s going to want to compete for a starting job somewhere instead of sitting on the bench behind someone as entrenched as Tony Romo. Luckily for Griffin, he’ll reportedly have no shortage of suitors.
