Deshaun Watson suffered an injury to his left eye when he was kicked in the face during last week’s game against the Oakland Raiders, and it was clearly nowhere close to being fully healed on Sunday.
Watson was shown without a helmet on during the Jacksonville Jaguars-Houston Texans game in London, and his eye looked extremely bloodshot and swollen. Considering it has been a full week since a cleat caught him in the face, that shows the injury is more than just a minor one.

Rich Eisen said during the NFL Network broadcast that Watson told him he reached up to touch his eye to make sure it was still there after he was kicked in the face. The star quarterback was supposed to take part in the pregame ceremonies for Game 7 of the World Series but had to cancel because of a setback with his eye, so it has clearly been bothering him.
