Drew Brees says he will either retire or stay with Saints
Don’t count on seeing Drew Brees wearing the uniform of any team but the New Orleans Saints.
The veteran quarterback said at the Pro Bowl Saturday that he hopes to have a decision on his future made in a month, and he will either retire or stay with New Orleans for another season.
Brees says he will keep "his process" for mulling retirement private and knows he gives "the same boring answers each year" but he'll know in a month and it will be #Saints or retirement…nothing else pic.twitter.com/eqdHBYCur4

Brees is set to become a free agent, but that clearly won’t be an issue if he does decide to return. His stance won’t come as a major surprise, as he’s never been linked to any other team. He has little incentive to go elsewhere — he has little incentive to uproot himself for a new start at age 41, and he’s already quarterbacking a contender.
The veteran quarterback will certainly have other opportunities if he decides to hang it up, but given some recent comments he made, he may be leaning toward playing at least one more season.
