Eagles give Super Bowl ring to former secretary fired by Chip Kelly
Many associated with the Philadelphia Eagles would probably rather forget the Chip Kelly era entirely, but the team is definitely sparing a thought for those who didn’t keep their jobs under him.
Case in point? The Eagles sent a former secretary, who worked for the organization for three decades before being fired by Kelly, a Super Bowl ring despite no ties to the current team as a token of appreciation for their work and career.
So my aunt works for the eagles for three decades as the head coach’s secretary.
Chip Kelly fires her.
The Eagles win the super bowl.
I get the below text messages last night.

It’s a tough of class from the Eagles organization, who certainly didn’t have to do this. Now this secretary will have a very tricked-out ring to commemorate their service to the team.
