Eli Manning greeted with supportive chant in possible final game with Giants
Eli Manning is probably playing his final home game with the New York Giants on Sunday, and though there’s little to play for, fans were happy to show their appreciation.
As the Giants’ offense took the field against Miami for the first time Sunday, Manning was greeted with a rousing ovation and chants of his name.

This is an appreciation of Manning’s career accomplishments. The last few years haven’t been good, but he won two Super Bowls as a member of the Giants, and their fans have not forgotten that. This is almost certainly it for him with the organization, but he’ll go out fondly remembered in New York.
We know that Manning wants to start again. That could lead to some weirdness if he succeeds and ever has to play against the Giants.
