Report: Joe Flacco will not need hip surgery, could miss two games
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is not expected to play on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but it does not sound like the hip injury he is dealing with is one that will affect him long-term.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Flacco will not require surgery on his injured hip. He could, however, sit out next week’s game against the Oakland Raiders in addition to Sunday.
Ravens’ QB Joe Flacco will not need surgery on his injured hip, per source. Aside from being out today vs. Bengals, Flacco also is in jeopardy of missing next Sunday’s game vs. Oakland. More on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown at 10 am.

The Ravens are hoping rookie Lamar Jackson will be able to provide them with a spark on offense, as they are still fighting for a playoff spot at 4-5. If the first-round pick is not ready to lead the team on the big stage, Baltimore could be all but out of the postseason hunt by the time Flacco is cleared to return.
