Johnny Manziel has guaranteed that he’ll be playing football somewhere in 2018.
The controversial quarterback is currently in negotiations with the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats, but it’s unclear if a deal will come to pass. Either way, Manziel made clear on Twitter that he trusts his agent to handle business matters, and that he’s focused on playing football this year.

The CFL appears to be Manziel’s best chance, though his camp has made clear that a deal must get done by the end of the month. If that falls through, there’s no obvious next step, since the NFL is definitely off the table for now.
