Kevin Stefanski ridiculed on Twitter for his playcalling in Vikings’ playoff loss
Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski is considered a head coaching candidate for the Cleveland Browns, and after the game he called on Saturday, Vikings fans probably wouldn’t mind seeing him go.
The Vikings’ offense got shut out in the second half and managed just 10 points in a 27-10 loss to the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs on Saturday. Outside of a touchdown drive on their second possession, the offense was mostly silent.
Stefanski was mocked for his playcalling in the game.
6 three and outs on 8 possessions and Stefanski is a HC candidate lmfao

The @Browns have announced they are hiring Kevin Stefanski after the Vikings inspiring offensive showcase in the nfc divisional round against the niners. "His ability to look awful is exactly what we need in Cleveland" Jimmy Haslam boasted. @Reflog_18 begins parade arrangements

Hey @Browns please hire Stefanski.
— Ghetto Kirk Cousins (@ghettokirk) January 12, 2020
Kirk Cousins passed for just 172 yards and was sacked six times for 46 yards. He didn’t have enough protection on his dropbacks, and the Vikings failed to adjust.
If the Browns used Saturday’s game as criteria in their evaluation, it would be difficult to see them not having Robert Saleh ahead of Stefanski in terms of candidacy. Saleh is the 49ers’ defensive coordinator and his defense dominated Stefanski’s offense.
Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is considered another option for Cleveland, and there is said to be a sleeper candidate as well.
