LeGarrette Blount works out for Raiders
Veteran running back LeGarrette Blount may have a route back into the NFL with the Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders, currently in the hunt for a running back, brought Blount in for a workout Wednesday, along with former Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough.
The Raiders worked out free agent RB LeGarrette Blount, as well as RB Bo Scarborough. First known visit for Blount after spending 2018 with the Lions.

The 32-year-old Blount hasn’t played since he was with the Detroit Lions in 2018. He’s been a complementary back for much of his career, though he’s only three years removed from surpassing 1,000 yards and leading the league with 18 rushing touchdowns with the New England Patriots.
If nothing else, Blount is good at landing on teams with Super Bowl ambitions. That probably isn’t the Raiders this season, but he’s been around a while and could prove helpful.
