Nate Solder announces infant son is battling kidney cancer
New England Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder announced some sad news on Monday night, saying at a charity event that his infant son is battling kidney cancer.
The Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe reported the news of what Solder revealed at the Above & Beyond the Gratitude Gala benefiting the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. Apparently Solder’s son, Hudson, was diagnosed last month with Wilms’ tumor in his kidneys and has already undergone chemotherapy.

Solder’s son was born in July. Solder himself beat testicular cancer last year.
