Nick Foles suffers broken clavicle against Chiefs, out indefinitely
The Jacksonville Jaguars thought they had fixed their quarterback problems, but a Week 1 injury has thrown their offense back into turmoil.
Nick Foles suffered a broken left clavicle in the team’s Week 1 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Foles would be out “indefinitely.”

Foles suffered the injury on a touchdown pass late in the first quarter. He was seen on the sideline throughout the game with his left arm in a sling. The Jaguars QB is set to undergo surgery on Monday.
Rookie backup Gardner Minshew completed 22-of-25 passes for 275 yards and two scores in place of Foles. However, he’s very untested, and it remains to be seen if he’s an actual solution. The Jaguars will have to find a stopgap somewhere, be it Minshew or someone else, with Foles set to be sidelined for a while.
