Eagles confirm Nick Foles will be ready for playoff opener
As expected, quarterback Nick Foles will be good to go for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
Foles suffered an injury to his ribs Sunday against the Washington Redskins that knocked him out of the game, but coach Doug Pederson confirmed Monday that he would be under center when the Eagles take on the Chicago Bears next weekend.
Eagles' HC Doug Pederson said Nick Foles is good to go for Sunday's playoff game vs. Chicago.

Foles has bruised ribs, but once tests were completed, it became very clear that the issues would not be significant enough to keep him out of Philadelphia’s playoff opener. Now the Eagles can focus on how to protect Foles from the fierce Chicago defense on Sunday afternoon.
