Odell Beckham ruled out for final game of season with quad injury
Odell Beckham Jr was having one of his best seasons as a pro with the New York Giants this year, but it is ending on a very disappointing note.
Beckham, who has missed three consecutive games with a quad injury, has officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. With the Giants eliminated from playoff contention, his 2018 season is officially over.
#Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr (quad) has officially been ruled out for Sunday and his season is over. He finishes with his fourth 1,000 yard season out of 5 (in just 12 games).

That makes two years in a row now that Beckham’s season has ended with an injury. He finishes with 77 catches for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns in just 12 games.
Beckham had given indications that his quad was feeling better recently, but there’s no reason for the Giants to risk anything after they gave him a massive contract extension before the season. The star receiver was visiting with specialists at one point to figure out what was wrong with his leg, so it would not be a surprise if he ends up undergoing surgery.
