Patrick Mahomes leaves immediately after game due to family emergency
Patrick Mahomes was not around after the Kansas City Chiefs’ win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday due to a family emergency.
The Chiefs quarterback typically would stick around for interviews on the field and in the locker room or media room after a game, but he did not do so this week.
Patrick Mahomes will not be available postgame because of a family emergency I’m told. He has already left the stadium. He skipped doing the on the field interview as well with the game broadcast.

Mahomes was 21/28 for 249 yards and two touchdowns in KC’s 26-14 win. His two passing touchdowns gave him 31 on the season, which sets a franchise single-season record.
