Sun affects Washington during Thanksgiving game at Dallas
Washington’s offense had uncharacteristic struggles in their Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, and the sun was a big reason why.
There was a huge glare coming from the sun which went through the windows at the west end of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, and it hindered Washington’s ability to see during the first half.
Kicker Dustin Hopkins, who entered the game 23/27 on the season on field goals, missed two kicks in the first half. Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins completed most of his passes, but he did complain about the sun when talking with his head coach after one incompletion.
