TJ Lang mocks Detroit Lions for being offseason champs
TJ Lang became the target of Lions fans’ ire after mocking the rival team over Twitter Wednesday.
The Green Bay Packers offensive lineman took a few swipes at Detroit for its offseason moves, sending the following tweets:
So who’s winning the march Super Bowl so far? Sweet. #irrelevant

So do the lions get hats and t shirts for winning the off season NFC north title?

After firing off a few shots like that, it’s no surprise that Lang received plenty of backlash from Lions fans. He tried easing his way out of the situation by calling his criticism “jokes.”
Man people sure do get worked up over some football jokes!

After a Lions fan pointed out that the Packers have made early playoff exits the past two seasons, Lang was forced to go to the championship ring defense:
“@jsteagall: @tjlang70 do you get tshirts and hats for getting knocked out early twice?”no but I do have this twitter.com/TJLang70/statu…

I think Lang is just feeling left out that other teams are making moves while his team has not. Detroit retained cornerback Chris Houston and added Glover Quin and Reggie Bush. The additions of Quin and Bush won’t necessarily make Detroit a better team than Green Bay, but it certainly makes them improved.
Lang can sit back and crack jokes all he wants pretending like the offseason doesn’t matter, but I bet he’ll be pretty stoked if/when his team signs Steven Jackson.
