Tony Romo expects to go into coaching at some point
Tony Romo is a blossoming star in his second career as a broadcaster. He’s been so good with his predictive powers in the booth that many think his talents would be best utilized in coaching. That’s something he seems to believe as well.
Romo will be calling the Super Bowl for CBS in just his second season as a broadcaster for the network. He and the other members of the CBS broadcasting team spoke with the media on Tuesday, and Romo said he expects to coach some day.
What does Tony Romo say to Cowboys fans who would like to see him be the OC? “Well, they’ll have to wait. I’m sure one day I’ll coach. Right now, I’m happy with where I’m at.”

Romo earned plaudits for his amazing work as an analyst in the AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. He was so good that there was talk about CBS giving him a big raise to retain him.
As we saw with Jon Gruden at ESPN, there’s only so much the raises can do. If a guy has the hunger to coach, one day there will be an offer too enticing to pass up.
