Cleveland Browns fans got their first taste of victory since Dec. 2016, and some lucky fans also got a taste of Bud Light as well.
Prior to the season, Bud Light announced one of the best branded promotions we’ve seen in a while. They installed a “Victory Fridge” in some bars in Cleveland that were stocked with Bud Light and locked with a chain. The fridges would be unlocked any time the Browns won a game, with the beer free for fans to consume.
And on Thursday night, the Browns beat the New York Jets 21-17 to go 1-1-1 on the season, giving them their first win since Dec. 24, 2016 — a total of 635 days.

Here’s a look at the tweet sent by Bud Light after the game:
Cleveland, the @Browns won. The fridges are open. Go celebrate with a Bud Light. You’ve earned it. pic.twitter.com/RvjJ0WvpyO

The Browns enjoyed it too.
OPEN THOSE FRIDGES @BUDLIGHT

Bud Light better be careful, because with the way Baker Mayfield looked, those fridges are going to be opened plenty more times this season.
