Video shows play where Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered concussion

Marvin Harrison Jr takes a hard hit

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered a concussion during his team’s game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis., on Sunday.

Harrison tried to make a catch over the middle of the field midway through the second quarter, but he was covered tightly by Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander. As Harrison went to the ground, his head collided with linebacker Isaiah McDuffie’s leg.

Harrison stood up under his own power, but he was clearly dizzy and fell back to the ground.

Harrison was evaluated for a concussion and later ruled out.

Most players miss at least a game after suffering a concussion, so Harrison’s status will be in question when the Cardinals host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7.

Harrison, the No. 4 overall pick in this year’s draft, entered Sunday’s game with 17 catches for 279 yards and 4 touchdowns. He is the second star rookie wideout to suffer a concussion in the last two weeks.
