Brittney Griner kicks pregnant wife Glory Johnson out of house
WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson filed to have their marriage nullified back in June, and things have gotten quite ugly since. The divorce has not been finalized, but Griner recently kicked Johnson out of the former couple’s home.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge has awarded Griner temporary exclusive use of the couple’s Arizona home while the divorce is being finalized. Johnson, who is pregnant with twins, needs to schedule a date to pick up her personal belongings. She will reportedly need to be accompanied by a police officer and be given 20 minutes to gather her things.
The relationship between Griner and Johnson has always been loaded with drama. The couple tied the knot soon after they were both arrested for assault, and the marriage hardly lasted a month. Things took a bizarre turn when Johnson announced she was pregnant and Griner reportedly claimed she was blindsided by it. Earlier this year, Johnson explained her attraction to Griner in an interesting way.
Johnson is due to give birth to Twins in January, and she says she initially planned to raise the children with Griner. It’s unclear if Griner plans to have any role in the children’s lives.
