Stars say Ben Bishop is fine despite X-rays, injury scare
The Dallas Stars insist goalie Ben Bishop is fine despite his injury scare on Sunday.
Bishop took a puck to the collarbone during the third period of Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals between his Stars and the St Louis Blues. While he was down and clearly dealing with an injury, the Blues scored to increase their lead to 3-1.
Bishop was visited by the team’s trainer and remained in the game before later being replaced by Anton Khudobin. His Stars went on to lose 4-1 to even the series 3-3.
After the game, Bishop underwent X-rays that turned up negative. The tests were described as precautionary by Stars head coach Jim Montgomery, who said Bishop is fine.

Bishop will have a day to recover before the deciding Game 7 on Tuesday in St Louis. He stopped just 12 of 16 shots he faced in Game 6.
