Pete Rose would have been in the Hall of Fame long ago if only he hadn’t continually lied about his gambling. The American sports fan and general public is very forgiving when a public figure comes clean, apologizes and asks for forgiveness. Rose was much to arrogant to go that route for so many years. His stubborn attitude only compounded the felony.

As much as I dislike the guy, I think he should be allowed in in the same capacity as the steroid era cheaters, whatever that might be.

Put him in the Hall! I agree, either reject EVERY cheater or vote based only on athletic performance.

Maybe Rose will take bets on getting let in or not. :)
