How great are they? Darryl Dawkins seems to get forgotten but he broke many a backboard. Howard doesn't have a fraction the ability a guy like Wilt Chamberlain had. On Dwight's 'superman' dunk, he jumped from 3 feet inside the free throw line and still couldn't reach the rim with his hand. Wilt could routinely jump from completely behind the line and put it in the hoop. I'd like to see 'superman' do that 10 times a night. I found a great photo of Wilt recently where flat footed he jumped straight up to block a shot and his elbow was over the rim. Guys nowadays can get that high with a good run, but straight up flat footed? no way. OVERRATED
