Loui Eriksson kicked off a 4-3 overtime win for the Boston Bruins over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night with a sweet goal where he went between his legs on a deke.
About seven minutes into the first period, Eriksson took a pass from Carl Soderberg and went through his legs. He then beat Marc-Andre Fleury five-hole for the goal to put the B’s up 1-0. Eriksson assisted on two other Bruins goals, and Soderberg picked up another assist as well.
Boston continues to lead the Eastern Conference with 34 points, while Pittsburgh is tied with Tampa Bay for second at 31 points.
