Kyle Schwarber wears IU candy stripe pants for Cubs road trip
The Chicago Cubs went with a basketball jersey theme for their themed road trip, and the outfit worn by Kyle Schwarber stood out.
Schwarber, who starred at Indiana in college, wore an IU basketball jersey complete with their iconic candy stripe warmup pants. The Cubs tweeted the video clip at the request of Indiana’s athletics account.

Schwarber batted .341 with 40 home runs during his three-year career with the Hoosiers, leading him to become the No. 4 overall pick in the 2014 MLB Draft.

The basketball jerseys are nothing new for a Joe Maddon team. The former Rays manager used to have themed road trips when he was with Tampa Bay regularly.
