Xander Bogaerts accidentally tweeted picture of girl in a thong
Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts has been billed as the next big thing in baseball. The 21-year-old Aruba native hit .269 in 12 postseason games last year, helping the Red Sox en route to a World Series championship. He’s a phenomenal fielder and a great hitter, but he needs to improve at Twitter.
After Boston beat the Chicago White Sox in extra innings on Wednesday night, Bogaerts sent out an interesting tweet.

We’re guessing it was a mistake.
Most athletes would delete the tweet and issue an apology, but Bogaerts decided to take it a step further. He has deactivated his account altogether.
As US Airways would gladly tell the youngster, tweeting naked pictures will get you in trouble 99 times out of 100 if you’re not a porn star. Hopefully Bogaerts learned a valuable lesson in social media.
