Blake Griffin expected to miss 4-6 weeks with broken hand
Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has not played since Christmas with a quad injury, and he is expected to miss another month or so after breaking his hand in an embarrassing off-court incident over the weekend.
According to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register, the Clippers expect Griffin to be out another 4-6 weeks.

We learned Monday night that Griffin injured his hand in what was labeled a “team-related incident,” and the story behind it doesn’t get much more embarrassing. Clippers coach Doc Rivers said the team will release a statement and talk more about the incident before Tuesday’s game against the Pacers. From the sound of it, Griffin suffered the broken hand when he get into a fight with a team equipment staffer outside a restaurant in Toronto. You can read more details about the altercation here.
After stringing together an impressive win streak right after Griffin went down with a quad injury, the Clippers have begun to struggle a bit. They have lost three of their last five and look particularly bad on defense. Losing Griffin for another month-plus because of a seemingly immature incident was the last thing the team needed.
