Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins has every intention of playing again this season.
Cousins, who partially tore his quad in Game 2 of the Warriors’ first round series against the Los Angeles Clippers, is rehabbing the injury and has every intention of playing again at some point in the playoffs.
“For me, my goal is I ain’t planning on sitting,” Cousins said Monday, via Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated. “I don’t know the reality of it. But for me, that is not what I’m planning on doing… It’s definitely some type of bad movie. But I think it will have a very nice ending. Just wait for it.”

Cousins went through a workout after Golden State’s Monday shootaround as well.
DeMarcus Cousins going through decent intensity workout after shootaround today. Clearly improving. He is holding out hope for a playoff cameo if Warriors make Finals.

Coach Steve Kerr has refused to rule out the chance of Cousins playing again this season. The NBA Finals may be the earliest it could happen, but it’s clearly on the table.
