Grizzlies reportedly interested in Norris Cole in wake of Mike Conley injury
Suddenly scrambling for answers at the point guard position, the Memphis Grizzlies may opt to take a ride on the Cole Train.
According to a report by Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders on Tuesday, the Grizzlies have expressed interest in two-time NBA champion Norris Cole in the wake of the injury to starter Mike Conley.

Cole, 28, is currently playing overseas with the Shandog Golden Stars of the Chinese Basketball Association. He averaged 10.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game playing for the New Orleans Pelicans in 2015-16.
The former first-round pick is familiar with Grizzlies head coach David Fizdale, who coached him as an assistant during his time with the Miami Heat (where he was also briefly teammates with Grizzlies swingman James Ennis).
Conley will miss extended time after fracturing a veterbrae, so Cole could prove to be a serviceable fill-in for Memphis these next several weeks.
