Hawks likely to trade Dennis Schroder after acquiring Trae Young
Dennis Schroder may be getting his way with the Atlanta Hawks.
The Hawks acquired Trae Young in a draft-night trade with the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. Young plays the same position as Schroder, who is now expected to be traded.
WSB’s Zach Klein has been all over the Hawks’ draft plans and says the team will look to package Schroder and a pick in a deal with the Clippers for the No. 13 pick.

Schroder has made it pretty clear that he wants to be traded. The 24-year-old averaged 19.4 points and 6.2 assists per game last season with Atlanta. He is owed $54.5 million over the next three seasons.
