LeBron James created quite the stir over the weekend when he subtweeted Kevin Love with a comment about fitting in with your surroundings. LeBron basically admitted after Sunday’s game that he was taking a swipe at his teammate, but he still thinks we are all overreacting to the tweet.
Less than 24 hours after he admitted that using the same language in his tweet that Love used back in October was “not a coincidence,” LeBron sent the following tweets.
I like u guys a lot(Media) but don't try and make a story cause it looks good. If I have a problem with a teammate or anyone I'll say to….

their face and not over social media. That's corny and wack! So good try again my friends(Media), I still love you guys.

The important thing is Love went out and scored a season-high 32 points and lit it up from 3-point range after LeBron’s tweet. James has already been open about questioning Love’s confidence with the Cleveland Cavaliers, so he probably just feels he is challenging the former Minnesota Timberwolf.
Was it just a tweet? Sure, but when LeBron admits that he was publicly calling out a teammate that’s a pretty big deal — even if his motivational tactics worked.
