Lonzo Ball out a week with shoulder injury
Lonzo Ball will have to sit out his first NBA Christmas Day game.
Ball sustained a left shoulder sprain in Saturday’s game, which will rule him out of the Christmas Day matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Medical Update: Lonzo Ball, who was injured in the second quarter last night, had an MRI today. Results of the MRI revealed a shoulder sprain in his left shoulder. Ball will be out for tomorrow’s game vs. Minnesota and will be reevaluated in one week.

Ball had been playing well lately, so it’s a pity that he’s been ruled out of one of the NBA’s biggest showcase days of the year. That said, things don’t sound serious, so that’s good news.
