Tyrese Haliburton got clowned by fans for his performance Friday against the New York Knicks. Once you check his stat line, it’s not hard to see why.
Haliburton laid a goose egg in his team’s 123-98 loss to the Knicks in front of a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York City, N.Y. The Pacers star missed all eight of his field goal attempts. Seven of them were from behind the three-point line. Haliburton had a final stat line of one rebound, five assists, and one steal without a single point.
Fans on X roasted Haliburton for his brutal display against the Pacers’ biggest East rival.

After the Knicks got embarrassed themselves against the Boston Celtics during opening night, Tom Thibodeau’s squad was locked in defensively on Friday.
Haliburton’s scoreless outing was his first in a Pacers uniform. Knicks offseason acquisition Mikal Bridges stayed glued to Haliburton all game.
Haliburton turned himself into a villain in May when Indiana eliminated New York from the 2024 playoffs. The Pacers guard talked some serious trash at Knicks fans while doing it.
While it was just a regular season game, Knicks fans at MSG were in great spirits as their team rendered Haliburton pretty much useless on Friday.
