Floyd Mayweather Jr. Allegedly Threatened Security Guards with Guns
Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. allegedly threatened security guards at his Las Vegas home, the Las Vegas Sun reports, and no, this is not a repeat of the five previous stories we’ve reported here at LBS. Money Mayweather was charged with misdemeanor harassment for threatening guards who ticketed his cars on the street. This is not a joke.
According to the complaint, the incident took place in October when two security guards cited a couple of Mayweather’s cars parked outside his mansion. Mayweather supposedly then threatened the guards saying “My homies have guns. If you want me to call them, they’d come over here and take care of you.” He also allegedly said “These are my f**king cars. Don’t touch my f**king cars.”
At this point we can either conclude that Floyd is a giant jerk with no respect for security guards, or his homeowners association is doing everything possible to get him kicked out of the community. Seriously, let’s just look at his list of infractions:
- – Allegedly poked a security guard in the face
– Flipped out and went nuts on a security guard in this video
– Alleged domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend
– Sued by his homeowners association
– Hit with a $3.35 million IRS tax bill
The evidence against Floyd pretty much points to him being a jerk. It’s truly sad that he keeps getting into trouble (even if this is just a charge dating back to October). The only thing that could help him redeem his public reputation is by returning to the ring. Hopefully he follows what his uncle says by returning this summer.
