Gennady Golovkin on Saturday showed why he is the most exciting fighter in boxing.
Golovkin, who entered his middleweight title fight with Willie Monroe Jr. 32-0 with 29 knockouts, dropped the New York native twice in the second round and then one more time for good in the sixth.
The first knockout was gorgeous as it came on a textbook left hook. Smelling blood in the water, Golovkin went after Monroe with fierce pressure the rest of the round and sent him to the canvas a second time.
