Tyson Fury beats Otto Wallin despite huge cut over right eye
Tyson Fury beat Otto Wallin by unanimous decision in their fight at T-Mobile Arenas in Las Vegas on Saturday night, but the bout was a lot closer than it probably should have been, due to Fury being impaired.
Fury was fighting through two huge cuts over his right eye. One was just over his right eye, around the lid. The other was a massive gash around his eyebrow.

Fury’s corner believed a headbutt caused the cut, but ESPN showed it came from a punch. The bleeding and vision issues caused Fury some problems for a good portion of the fight. He still won easily on the judges’ cards, receiving scores of 116-112, 117-111, and 118-110.
After his win, Fury, who remains unbeaten, called out Deontay Wilder for a rematch. The two are set to meet in early 2020 so long as Wilder beats Luis Ortiz in November.
