Colorado State players boycott practice
Members of the Colorado State men’s basketball team boycotted practice on Thursday over circumstances surrounding suspended head coach Larry Eustachy.
Last month, Colorado State launched an investigation into Eustachy’s behavior, which the school also did during the 2013-2014 season. A few days later, Eustachy was placed on administrative leave by athletic director Joe Parker.
On Thursday, players made a statement by boycotting practice.

Sources say today's decision for the players to boycott practice was primarily over frustrations with how little communication they have received from AD Joe Parker & the fact that Barnes has been named interim head coach. The players do not want to play for Barnes. #CSURams

The Rams have played two games in Eustachy’s absence, both of which the team has lost. Players not wanting to play for interim coach Steve Barnes could be a development to monitor going forward with reports Colorado State is set to fire Eustachy.
