Harry Giles undergoes third knee surgery, out six weeks
Duke freshman Harry Giles just cannot seem to stay healthy.
According to a report by Dana O’Neil of ESPN on Monday, Giles is out for six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. The procedure marks Giles’ third knee surgery and second on that particular knee.

Giles, 18, is one of the top prospects in the nation and is projected to be a high lottery pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He committed to Duke last November.
But the 6-foot-11 power forward tore his right ACL less than a year ago as a senior at Oak Hill Academy and, prior to that, suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee back in 2013.
Duke opens the regular season at home against Marist on November 11. While Giles may not be ready for that game, the Blue Devils fortunately have the top-ranked recruiting class in the country this year as fellow freshmen Jayson Tatum, Frank Jackson, and Marques Bolden will join the charge led by veterans Grayson Allen and Amile Jefferson.
