UTEP Miners head basketball coach Rodney Terry is in critical condition at a hospital in Miami after suffering an allergic reaction on Wednesday night.
UTEP was in Miami to face Florida International for their conference opener on Thursday, which they lost 69-67. Terry was hospitalized after the allergic reaction, and assistant Kenton Paulino coached the team against FIU.
Terry initially was reportedly expected to be let go from the hospital, but a subsequent report said the coach would remain in the hospital on Thursday night.
