The Auburn Tigers scored 21 unanswered points to rally back to a 27-21 win over the Oregon Ducks on Saturday, and they were definitely going to rub it in afterwards.
The Tigers trailed 21-6 midway through the third quarter before their furious rally, which culminated in quarterback Bo Nix finding wide receiver Seth Williams with seven seconds left for a 26-yard go-ahead touchdown. That opened the door for Auburn running back JaTarvious Whitlow to get a little bit of trash talk in.
Auburn running back JaTarvious Whitlow: "Nobody wanted to lose to Oregon. We feel like that's a bad reputation on them. What are they, ACC? Pac-12? I didn't even know what they were. A Pac-12 team coming in and beating an SEC team, we can't take that." https://t.co/VlVzbhgQAF

No. 11 Oregon was actually ranked ahead of Auburn coming into the game, but you wouldn’t know it from this quote. That said, Oregon isn’t going to earn any respect this way. The Ducks blew several opportunities to kill the game off, and it’s not the first time something like this has happened. They have no one to blame but themselves, and they’re just going to have to take quotes like this.
