How bad have things become for the Michigan Wolverines football program? Offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier was seen celebrating a touchdown Saturday to make it 28-9 with 3:40 left as if his team had taken a 1-point lead in the final seconds of a tight game against their rivals.
Though seeing Nussmeier fist-pumping after the touchdown seemed pathetic, he actually did have a few reasons to be happy. For one, the touchdown was an indication that his offense didn’t quit. Two, it was, sadly, Michigan’s first touchdown against Michigan State since 2011, so that was a big deal for them.
Still, this is Michigan we’re talking about. They shouldn’t be giving away tickets for purchases of Coca Cola cans or celebrating touchdowns down 28-9 to Michigan State. Things got so bad the student newspaper even stopped live-tweeting the game.
RT if you want us to keep tweeting this game. Favorite if you'd rather we just stop.
