Tee Martin reportedly finalizing extension to remain at USC

Tee Martin is finalizing a contract extension to remain as USC’s offensive coordinator, according to a report.

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported the news about Martin on Saturday:

Martin interviewed for the Oakland Raiders’ head coaching job, seemingly as a candidate to satisfy the Rooney Rule. Another report on Friday said he interviewed with the Raiders again, this time for an assistant job.

The threat of the former Tennessee quarterback apparently was enough to get him an extension with USC, where he’s been since 2012. Martin also spoke last month with his former head coach Phillip Fulmer about joining Tennessee’s program.
