Video: Ohio State WR Garrett Wilson credited with wild catch on review
Garrett Wilson was credited with an acrobatic catch after a review in the first quarter of Saturday’s College Football Playoff game between Ohio State and Clemson.
Ohio State had a 1st-and-10 at the Clemson 27 on their opening drive and Justin Fields threw high to the right sideline for Wilson. Wilson went up for the catch and caught the ball, but his foot landed out of bounds. The ball was initially ruled incomplete, but it was reviewed and changed to a catch. Officials determined Wilson landed on his left hand in bounds before his foot landed out of bounds:
Hard to get a better view than this… yet the call on the field had to be overturned. pic.twitter.com/3EoO1cWIf9
