The Washington Huskies were in Tucson to take on the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday. Unfortunately, Friday provided a challenge for a few members of the Huskies that hadn’t been covered during preparations leading up to the game.
As seen above, nine players were trapped in an elevator at their team hotel and, according to KGUN 9 News, had to be removed one by one.
It’s safe to say, this isn’t how Washington’s football team hoped their trip to Arizona would get underway. However, a win on Saturday would certainly add a positive footnote to the weekend.
