Deshaun Watson figures to be one of the biggest trade targets of the NFL offseason, but one team has ruled itself out of a pursuit.
The Miami Dolphins, long considered to be a favorite in the Watson sweepstakes, ruled themselves out of the race on Wednesday. General manager Chris Grier told the media that the Dolphins had moved on from any Watson pursuit.

This essentially confirms that the Dolphins are prepared to move forward with Tua Tagovailoa under center. That is a nice vote of confidence for Tagovailoa, especially since Miami was not publicly willing to be this firm during the season last year when Watson rumors flew.
Watson will ultimately have to settle for a move elsewhere assuming he is traded this offseason. The Houston Texans quarterback figures to have plenty of interest, particularly if his legal issues are resolved.
