Chad Kelly arrested for criminal trespassing
Chad Kelly was said to be on the verge of getting a chance to start for the Denver Broncos with how poorly Case Keenum has played this season, but that possibility may no longer exist after the quarterback was arrested early Tuesday morning.
According to a press release from police in Englewood, Colo., Kelly was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing.

Details are not yet known, but it sounds as though Kelly entered someone’s residence when he was not welcome. The investigation remains open.
Kelly, the final pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, missed all of last year due to wrist surgery. He was kicked off the team at Clemson, then went to a junior college, and he ended up at Ole Miss where he had two strong seasons. He was not invited to the NFL combine due to off-field issues, so the Broncos knew what they might be getting into by giving him a shot.
