Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Ryan Miller was taken to a local hospital after getting hurt during the team’s practice on Saturday.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer says Miller was down on the field for nearly 10 minutes before being immobilized on a board and carted off to an ambulance. He was then taken to the hospital.
Cabot says the team was practicing indoors Saturday because of rain. The injury apparently occurred during individual team drills.
Miller, a fifth-round pick of the team last season, apparently was awake, alert and moving all his extremities about 10 minutes after being taken to the hospital.
